Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

As a key member of our procurement and accounting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to manage vendor relationships, source and negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, including receipt and inspection of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and budgetary constraints, and communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, and prepare and review invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or accounting roles, with a strong background in vendor management and supply chain operations.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks and SAP a plus.
