Currently, Gryphon Technologies is seeking a dedicated, career-focused Technical Program Manager to enhance our team.

Role Overview:

This position will supervise various contracted initiatives aimed at conducting fundamental research for Directed Energy weapon systems. As a mid-level technical program manager, you should be self-driven, capable of leading a technical team, and able to operate with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills for conveying programmatic information through written reports and presentations are highly valued. The responsibilities of this technical program manager role include the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple technology development contracts and associated subcontracts.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects and contracts.
  • Collaborate with government, industry, and academic professionals in executing these responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of US DoD research contracting methods and experience managing US DoD contracts.
  • Familiarity with contracts involving academic institutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with Directed Energy weapon technologies is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance is required to commence employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as calculators and printers.
  • Frequently communicate with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Engage with data and move freely in a laboratory environment.
  • Perform repetitive motions as needed.
