Role Summary

As the school season approaches, INTERCARE is actively seeking individuals for entry-level positions focused on behavioral support within educational settings.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour – Available for both full-time and part-time roles.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrates a genuine interest in working with children
  • High School Diploma is a prerequisite
  • Previous experience with children is preferred
  • Availability during school hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Must possess reliable transportation along with a valid driver's license, auto registration, and insurance
  • Immunization records and TB test results are required
  • Background check will be conducted

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, run occasionally, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, reach overhead, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Engagement in activities with children may require working on the floor or in child-sized environments
  • Maintaining the safety of children and their surroundings is essential
  • Quick and sudden movements may be necessary
  • Physical exertion may be sustained for periods of up to 45 minutes

  • Behavior Analysis, Autism Support, Social Learning, Developmental Psychology, Sociology, Social Services, Childcare, ABA Therapy, Behavioral Health, Youth Program Coordination, Direct Support, and related fields.

This position may require candidates to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with California Department of Health guidelines or specific requirements set by Intercare funding sources.
