Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our team at the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute. As a member of our department, you will have the opportunity to work with a renowned team of surgeons, medical and interventional cardiologists, radiologists, vascular specialists, and others who are dedicated to providing the best possible heart and vascular care for our patients.
About the Position:
We are actively recruiting a board certified/eligible cardiothoracic surgeon with a specialty interest in Adult Cardiac Surgery. The successful candidate will practice in Charleston, WV, and may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
- Practice in the area of cardiothoracic surgery, providing excellent patient care and being actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Meet the qualifications of an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
- Have completed a general surgery residency program and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program.
- Be board eligible/certified in cardiothoracic surgery.
