We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Thoracic Surgeon to join our team at West Virginia University Health System. As a member of our esteemed Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of internationally renowned academic thoracic surgeons.
Key Responsibilities- Practice as a General Thoracic Surgeon in Morgantown, WV, with opportunities to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
- Join a collaborative atmosphere that fosters advanced medicine and academic excellence.
- Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to the growth and development of our program.
- Engage in clinical and translational research, with access to generous resources and a dedicated Division of Research.
- MD or DO degree (or foreign educational equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license.
- Completion of a general surgery residency program and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in thoracic surgery.
