Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Analyst to join our team. This role requires proximity to our facility to ensure timely attendance and participation in laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize appropriate handling techniques and maintain aseptic conditions.
  • Prepare composite samples for routine analysis.
  • Conduct initial dilutions and enrichments of various samples.
  • Execute sample plating for quantification purposes.
  • Perform transfers of samples as necessary.
  • Engage in instrumentation tasks with appropriate supervision.
  • Assist in diagnostics and reporting with guidance.
  • Contribute to project work under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and conduct quality checks on laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of workspaces.
  • Prepare media and uphold quality control standards, including thorough documentation.
  • Operate autoclaves as required.
  • Document laboratory activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize daily workload and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure a safe and orderly laboratory setting.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must possess the ability to read and write in English. A commitment to following quality control protocols and maintaining high standards in laboratory practices is essential. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to laboratory responsibilities.
