We are actively recruiting for a Coronary Imaging CoreLab Analyst to join the team at MedStar Health Research Institute in Washington, DC.

The Clinical Research Analyst is responsible for the analysis of angiographic image recordings as part of preclinical and clinical studies. This analysis includes a preliminary assessment of the adequacy of the recordings, associated documentation, quantitative analysis of the images, and completion of case report forms. The analyst is also responsible for the over reading and review of the analysis completed by the Clinical Research Associate in the Angiographic/NIRS Core Laboratory.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis and significant course work in the sciences required
Experience
  • 1-2 years experience performing core lab quantitative and morphology analysis required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attend local interventional reviews such as the MWHC Cath Conference or equivalent to keep abreast of the latest information in the field.Collaborate with other associates and researchers in abstract and manuscript preparation.Define and classify lesions based on morphology standardizations.Maintain a good working knowledge of interventional clinical practices, new devices and outcome measure as related to assigned work (attend local intervention reviews such as WHC Cath Conference or equivalent).Perform quantitative analysis of angiographic images using computerized graphical measurements.Responsible for the over reading of analysis completed by the Clinical Research Associate. This performance includes reviewing the total analysis to identify and correct any mistakes.
