Responsibilities

The Security Specialist II is responsible for maintaining the physical security of personnel and property within IGT facilities by executing all security directives and regulations.

  • Supports the physical security of company facilities and operations on a global scale.
  • Implements protocols and processes to safeguard personnel and company assets while adhering to required codes and regulations.
  • Prevents unauthorized access to company sites and protects against unauthorized removal or damage to company property.
  • Maintains and updates visitor logs and completes incident reports.
  • Monitors and operates surveillance cameras, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Utilizes the access control system to manage access to sites globally.
  • Collaborates with third-party alarm monitoring services to address and resolve intrusion detection incidents as per established protocols.
  • Observes facilities from fixed posts and conducts foot patrols.
  • Documents shift activities in the Daily Activity Log.
  • May be required to perform various roles, including single-entry point monitoring, vehicle patrols, and interior/exterior property patrols. Must respond to a variety of incidents requiring a security presence.
  • Interacts with IGT internal customers (employees, tenants) and external customers such as lotteries and auditors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess foundational knowledge and skills in:

  • Federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
  • Security and law enforcement equipment.
  • Security protective systems (fire alarms, building access, etc.).
  • Experience with security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Associate's Degree/High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must successfully pass IGT's background check, financial background check, and all customer state lottery background checks, obtaining necessary gaming licenses.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Typically requires 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in security.

At IGT, we consider various factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors may result in variations in compensation. The estimated starting compensation range is $34,216 - $65,957. Actual pay may vary. The Company will adhere to all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is just one component of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may qualify for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
