Key Responsibilities

The Security Specialist II is responsible for ensuring the physical safety of personnel and property within IGT facilities by executing all security protocols and regulations:
  • Support the physical security of company facilities and operations globally.
  • Implement procedures to safeguard personnel and company assets while adhering to required codes and regulations.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to company premises and protect against the unauthorized removal or damage of property.
  • Maintain visitor logs and complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Monitor and operate security systems including cameras, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarms according to established guidelines.
  • Utilize the access control system to manage site access globally.
  • Collaborate with third-party alarm monitoring services to address and resolve security incidents.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises and document shift activities in the Daily Activity Log.
  • Engage with both internal and external customers, including employees and auditors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
  • Familiarity with security and law enforcement equipment.
  • Experience with security systems such as CCTV and access control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • An Associate's Degree or High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary gaming licenses.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 50 pounds and to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.

Certifications Required

Candidates must hold the following certifications:
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • AED Certification
