Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Expeditor to join our team at Our Team. As an Expeditor, you will play a critical role in maintaining consistency in product execution and ensuring that all products are delivered to standard. You will also be responsible for managing communication between the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee 100% Recipe Adherence: Verify that all prepared food meets Our Team's standards, follows recipe requirements, and adheres to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure Line Cooks Follow Zoning Guidelines: Ensure that Line Cooks follow zoning guidelines at all times to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Recipe Changes: Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure that proper recipe procedures are executed daily.
  • Streamline Communication: Streamline communication between FOH and BOH Team Members, including communicating ticket times and potential problems with the service staff, kitchen staff, and Managers.
  • Manage Throughput Times: Manage throughput times as outlined through Our Team's Brand Standards.
  • Keep Food Moving: Keep prepared food continuously moving out of the kitchen to ensure that food is delivered timely to the table.
  • Conduct Line Checks: Conduct Line Checks to ensure that all stations are clean and organized.
  • Stock and Organize: Stock and organize product on line, rotate product, and may also organize product in coolers, dry storage, and freezers during non-peak periods.
  • Complete Prep Work: Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Break down and clean station thoroughly, daily.
  • Lead Demos: Lead demos to showcase Our Team's products and services.

  • Following and Enforcement of Recipe Adherence and Ecosure Standards: Make decisions regarding the following and enforcement of recipe adherence and Ecosure standards.
  • Preventing Inferior Product Delivery: Prevent behaviors that result in inferior product being delivered to the Guest.

Influences:

  • Guest Experience: Influence the Guest experience by ensuring that all products are delivered to standard.
  • Throughput Times: Influence throughput times by managing communication between FOH and BOH teams.
  • Food Waste: Influence food waste by ensuring that all products are delivered to standard.

Measures of Success:

  • Throughput Times: Throughput times exceed Our Team's standards.
  • Guest Satisfaction Scores: Guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed Our Team's standards.
  • Ecosure Audits: Ecosure audits meet or exceed Our Team's standards.
  • 100% Recipe Adherence: 100% recipe adherence, including plating and garnishing final product.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be a Validated Coach: Must be a validated coach.
  • Must be Validated on Minimum of Two Line Stations: Must be validated on a minimum of two line stations (preferred validated on all BOH Line Cook positions).
  • Must Demonstrate 100% Menu Knowledge: Must demonstrate 100% menu knowledge through procedures and product garnishments.
  • Must be Able to Work in Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, stressful environment.
  • Completed Certified Professional Food Handler Certification: Completed Certified Professional Food Handler certification.
  • Must be Able to Walk and Stand: Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift.
  • Must be Able to Bend Frequently: Must be able to bend frequently, working indoors 75%; outdoors 25%.
  • Must be Able to Lift and Carry: Must be able to lift and carry sacks and cases of up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift: placing these items on high shelves and walk-in freezers.
  • Must be Able to Speak Clearly: Must be able to speak clearly to communicate with others.
  • Must be Able to Hear: Must be able to hear Cook's and W/W's requests in the midst of loud background noise.
  • Must be Able to Read Orders: Must be able to read orders on the KMS screen.
