Position Summary:
The Senior IT Technician position demands a combination of technical proficiency and outstanding communication abilities. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to provide both pre-sales and post-sales support, which includes conducting discovery meetings, site evaluations, preparing proposals, technical assessments, implementing solutions, and managing technical accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering prompt, courteous, and effective resolution of user issues through various communication channels
  • Setting up and provisioning systems for new employees
  • Prioritizing incidents and service requests based on established processes and service level agreements
  • Executing hands-on repairs and installations at the desktop level
  • Installing and configuring hardware, software, antivirus solutions, and network infrastructure devices
  • Overseeing server administration, network firewall, switch management, and maintenance tasks
  • Conducting preventive maintenance while ensuring compliance with company safety protocols
  • Fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other departments
  • Designing effective network and server solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least five years of practical experience with networking hardware, Windows servers, Exchange server, and Active Directory
- Minimum of three years in a client-facing capacity
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Experience in proposal development and solution execution
- Results-driven, self-starter, and collaborative team member
- Familiarity with technology and business productivity systems
- Proficiency with RMM tools and cloud server environments
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CCIE
