We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our LMS Operations team, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and effective utilization of our learning management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Administration: Administer and manage cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Cloud Automation: Develop, update, and maintain CloudFormation templates or similar deployment automation scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- LMS Administration: Oversee the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, content delivery, and system updates.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud automation and LMS system interactions, utilizing logs and observability tools for prompt diagnosis and resolution.
- Support Ticket Management: Transfer incoming support tickets to the appropriate teams.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with LMS Engineering R&D to enhance end-user experience.
- Operational Tasks: Utilize the observability platform (Dynatrace) for operational tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technology-focused field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems) or relevant work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud Administration: Proven experience in cloud administration with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC using CloudFormation or Terraform, or configuration management solutions like Ansible.
- LMS Administration: Strong experience in administering and managing a Learning Management System.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Teamwork: Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals, and effectively execute projects in a matrix environment.
- Certifications: Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Certified).
- DevOps Experience: Prior experience in a DevOps environment or DevOps Site Reliability.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- SharePoint, Slack, and Zendesk: Experience with SharePoint, Slack, and Zendesk or equivalent systems.
- Dynatrace Platform: Prior experience with the Dynatrace Platform is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel: 25% or less travel required.
