Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Conferences and Events Specialist to join our Momentum Resource Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing events and conferences across the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning, development, and execution of events and conferences across the Americas region.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to identify marketing and conference opportunities aligned with their goals.
  • Managing event inventory and supplies, as well as sporting and event ticket management.
  • Supporting event team members with branding, coordination, and execution of corporate access conferences and marketing events.
  • Coordinating and assisting with end-to-end event logistics, including site evaluation, venue selection, contract negotiation, budget approvals, hotel room blocks, invite process, attendee registration, promotional items/giveaways, booth setup, signage, shipping details, marketing materials, speaker arrangements, presentations, and on-site management and execution.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Meticulous attention-to-detail and highly organized.
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and planning with the ability to identify the right fit for partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Knowledge of meeting and conference practices.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and execute multiple events simultaneously.
  • Adept project manager; impeccable time management and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional professionalism and confidence demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and navigate a matrixed environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
