Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team at the Health and Human Services Commission. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with complex medical needs in a State Supported Living Center setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat healthcare needs and issues, documenting and reporting as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with direct care staff, physicians, administration, and other nursing staff to ensure optimal care
  • Participate in facility quality assurance/quality improvement initiatives and provide treatment to HHS employees as needed
  • Respond to emergency situations and ensure the safety and care of individuals and staff
Requirements
  • Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or extended shift and/or overtime
  • May serve in an on-call status on a rotating schedule as required
