Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Physician in Adolescent Medicine to join our academic outpatient adolescent health service at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in Adolescent Medicine
- Contribute to clinical, translational, and outcomes research
- Participate in departmental or School of Medicine committees
- Engage in professional activities through journal review and conference presentations
Requirements:
- Board Certification in General Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Experience working with adolescents
- Experience in education and mentorship
- Commitment to working in a diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sub-board certification or additional graduate degree
- Experience with advocacy at local, state, and national levels
- Success in securing grants or contracts
