About the Role

We are in search of a seasoned product strategist to spearhead strategic asset and transportation management product initiatives. You will oversee the development, enhancement, and management of logistics products tailored to market demands. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the strategic vision, product roadmap, and execution to deliver innovative logistics solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth market research, comprehending customer needs, and translating them into actionable product strategies while mentoring other product managers.

Key Responsibilities

Key activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, customer challenges, and competitor offerings within the logistics sector.
  • Analyzing market data, customer feedback, user journeys, and industry insights to pinpoint new product opportunities and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Presenting product solutions to leadership, justifying the business case for technology roadmap prioritization. Defining the strategic vision, goals, and roadmap for logistics products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize features, define requirements through effective Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and create a clear and actionable product roadmap.
  • Working closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into well-defined specifications and user stories.
  • Coordinating product releases, including feature prioritization, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely delivery with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Leading the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality logistics solutions.
  • Developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and sales enablement materials.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to drive successful product launches and support ongoing sales initiatives.
  • Monitoring key product performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and market adoption to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Continuously gathering customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to refine and enhance logistics products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in both startup and complex environments.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a focus on clear communication and inclusivity.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, with the ability to prioritize relentlessly based on data and focus on key deliverables.
  • Experience in crafting long-term vision and quarterly roadmaps based on market insights and customer research.
  • Business acumen with a curiosity to learn and become an expert on a complex product.
  • Proven experience in transforming independent products into a cohesive platform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA preferred).
  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex data.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with UX design and multiple software development teams.
  • High tolerance for working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for executing strategy to deliver business results.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
