Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Sales Associate to join our team at Sonic Automotive. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their vehicle purchase, providing information about available models, and ensuring a positive buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences, and recommend suitable vehicles.
  • Test Drives: Conduct test drives to showcase features and performance of various vehicle models.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the features, specifications, and pricing of all available vehicle models to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.
  • Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-ins.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and finalize sales agreements in a transparent and customer-friendly manner.
  • Follow-up: Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers for potential repeat business and referrals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other sales team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Professional Development: Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Performance Metrics: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous sales experience in a commission or quota-driven role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Automotive Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm for automobiles and a genuine interest in helping customers.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Work Authorization: All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
