About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at American Welding and Gas. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific products and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
