Position Title: SIC Electrical Foreman

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to oversee projects in the electrical sector. This role is crucial for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are executed in compliance with local codes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement new or modified electrical installations to ensure efficient construction or repair of wiring, fixtures, or equipment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned electrical craft workers.
  • Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and job orders relevant to the area of supervision.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations diligently.
  • Establish and modify work sequences to align with project schedules, utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and personnel capabilities.
  • Analyze project schedules and estimate labor requirements for job completion.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Identify and resolve work-related issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate time records for all team members.
  • Inspect the quality of completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
  • Utilize personal judgment to evaluate information against measurable standards.
  • Work within precise accuracy limits and standards.
  • Recognize and respond to hazardous conditions or situations promptly.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the work environment, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Possess appropriate journeyman experience in electrical work.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complete all required safety and job training as mandated by the company.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures consistently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize all necessary personal protective equipment and lift items weighing up to fifty pounds.
  • Work conditions may include exposure to various environments such as offices, shops, traffic areas, warehouses, and outdoor settings.
  • Capability to access all areas of properties, including elevated positions and confined spaces safely.
  • Strenuous physical demands are necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • Proficient in operating all relevant equipment and tools safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and work in confined spaces with limited access.
