Position Overview

  • Responsible for the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission and distribution systems.
  • Provides mentorship and on-the-job training to Helpers and Apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Proficient in training on electrical distribution and transmission line construction, including knowledge of electrical devices such as transformers, voltage testing, and line switching procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures set forth by the company and clients.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman program or equivalent documented experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
  • Recent hands-on experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Valid CDL or the ability to obtain one.
  • Capability to interpret construction documents accurately.
  • Must successfully pass DOT physicals and drug tests as mandated.
  • Must clear pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and MVR checks.
