About the Role

The Patient Services Specialist II plays a vital role in supporting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy patients and families as part of the Patient Services Team. Working closely with Case Managers, this specialist will provide data updates to patient records, track case status, set up new patient referrals, and conduct patient outreach. This role requires a strong understanding of case management principles and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient intake support, including document checks and data entry into the CRM system
  • Collaborate with Case Managers and Senior Case Managers to initiate patient outreach and support
  • Participate in structured case management and reimbursement training, demonstrating learned skills and knowledge
  • Act as a backup or floater to the case management team as needed
  • Support the Sarepta Assist telephone line by handling incoming communications and adhering to Sarepta Compliance/HIPPA regulations
Requirements
  • BA/BS preferred or HS diploma with relevant experience in rare disease
  • 3+ years of case management experience in a related field
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and adapt to changing priorities
