Medical Assistant/Patient Representative

The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) position at Cambridge Health Alliance is a dynamic role that combines administrative and clinical responsibilities. As a key member of the ambulatory team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support while ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Duties: Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, executing daily insurance verifications, and maintaining accurate records of co-payments collected.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Preparing patient charts, taking vital signs, performing point-of-care testing, and assisting providers with medical histories.
- Patient Flow Management: Managing room cleaning, stocking, and setup, as well as participating in process improvement initiatives.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Experience: Current experience as a Medical Assistant, with experience in administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred.
- Language: Ability to write and verbally communicate in English, with knowledge of a second language preferred.
