About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing world-class healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care, including administering medications and completing treatments according to hospital policy.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff and provide education to patients and families on care and treatments.
  • Facilitate discharge plans and ensure a smooth transition of care.
Requirements
  • Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in surgical oncology.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
