Job Summary:As a Travel Oncology Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. You will demonstrate knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences in the patient population, including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
- Ensure pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
