Key Responsibilities- Oversee the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, holding staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to standards of care, promoting a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments.
- Ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs.
- Manage nursing practice and unit operations, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- At least 1+ year of experience in healthcare, with a focus on surgical oncology.
