Responsibilities- Plan and Implement Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of services and effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and provide education and support to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Facilitate Clinical Operations: Manage patient flow, coordinate consultations, and schedule diagnostic tests and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Provide Psychosocial Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families, addressing their concerns and needs in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience and current RN state license.
- Certifications and Training: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
The Clinic Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic setting.
