Role Overview:
As a Member Service Associate, you will play a vital role in establishing and nurturing relationships grounded in cooperation, service, and trust. Your position is crucial in delivering outstanding service to all members, volunteers, staff, and service partners.

This role requires you to be present at our branch location. Remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to all members, volunteers, internal staff, and service partners.
  • Articulate products and services to members to fulfill their needs.
  • Promote RCU, RCU Investment Services, RCU Insurance Services, and RCU Auto Services offerings.
  • Assist members in establishing basic products and services.
  • Address member inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department for assistance.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of member information by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Process member transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate cash and check balances while ensuring proper documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, along with at least 6 months of experience in a retail sales or cash handling environment. You should be a strong multitasker and collaborator who thrives in a team setting, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes a variety of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
