Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Stanford Sierra Youth & Families. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to at-risk children, youth, and families in a strength-based, culturally competent, and flexible manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Mental Health Services: Offer psychotherapeutic interventions, assessment, plan development, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral, rehabilitation, IHBS, ICC, case management, ICC-CFTs, and crisis intervention to eligible clients.
  • Collaborate with Families: Work with children, youth, and families to develop individualized safety plans, provide referrals and resources, and act as a liaison between the family, treatment team, and external organizations.
  • Document and Record Keeping: Accurately document all billable and non-billable services provided, complete Intake, Core Assessment, Mid-Assessment, and Discharge packets, and ensure all clinical records are current and accurate.
  • Participate in Agency Initiatives: Attend internal psychiatric appointments, participate in the agency's 24-hour family support on-call program, and contribute to utilization, accreditation, and peer review processes.
  • Meet Performance Expectations: Work collaboratively with internal programs, departments, and staff to provide support as needed, maintain positive relationships with system partners, families, and providers, and meet all outcomes as documented in the Employee Development Plan.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential or equivalent.
  • Clinical Experience: At least 1 year of experience providing services to adolescents and their families.
