Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs to determine appropriate scheduling with healthcare providers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate scheduling, ensuring alignment with patient needs and MCHS policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Terminology course or vocational technical program preferred.
  • Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; keyboard, computer, and telephone proficiency required; six months' previous experience in a healthcare facility or customer service role preferred.
  • Certifications/Licenses: None required; certifications or licenses in medical terminology or related fields preferred.
