Position Summary:

The Web Developer will leverage their extensive knowledge of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) to contribute to our team. This role demands a strong dedication to developing high-performance web applications and services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and services.
  • Incorporate AI and machine learning models into web solutions.
  • Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design concepts into functional web applications.
  • Oversee the complete development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment.
  • Ensure compliance of all web applications with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed about the latest best practices in web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
  • Strong skills in JavaScript and front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Proven experience in integrating AI and machine learning technologies into web applications.
  • Familiarity with database design and management using MongoDB.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in Google Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in website development.

Work Environment:

This role involves close collaboration with web developers, coders, and the digital marketing team. It typically takes place in an office environment and may involve occasional travel for industry conferences or team gatherings.
