Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and proactive Lead Sales Executive to become a vital part of our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with spearheading group business initiatives across diverse market segments to achieve and surpass revenue targets.

Employment Type:

Full-Time, with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $70,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with new and existing clients through various outreach methods, including phone calls, in-person meetings, site tours, and written correspondence.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Sales and Catering/Conference Services to remain updated on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and client requirements.
  • Assist sales and catering managers in executing marketing strategies aimed at identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Participate in sales strategy sessions, pre-convention planning, training, and other sales-related gatherings.
  • Support the analysis of revenue maximization worksheets to assess business value and negotiate advantageous revenue-generating agreements while ensuring top-notch customer service.
  • Contribute to precise forecasting of Group and Non-Value Added revenues.
  • Play a role in recruiting, managing, training, and mentoring the sales team.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer communication records, booking reports, and documentation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, community events, and industry conferences.
  • Build and nurture strong interdepartmental relationships while promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in hotel sales with a focus on revenue generation.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong administrative capabilities and business writing proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and analytical processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including banquets and catering services.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as necessary.
