POSITION SUMMARY

The Patient Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in the revenue cycle management for outpatient services provided within a healthcare facility. This position is tasked with gathering all necessary information to ensure accurate patient registration, facilitating the correct visit entry in the billing system, and conducting eligibility checks. The specialist is also responsible for executing all procedures related to patient check-in and managing point-of-service cash collections.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates with a background in customer service are preferred Knowledge of medical health insurance and medical terminology is advantageous Experience in Revenue Cycle operations is desirable
