Position Summary

The Maintenance Support Technician plays a vital role in the property management team, assisting in the efficient turnover of units. This position involves collaborating closely with the maintenance staff to ensure that all maintenance tasks are executed promptly and effectively. Responsibilities include groundskeeping, general repairs, carpentry, and painting to maintain the property's standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all vacant units are serviced and painted swiftly for re-rental.
  • Address service requests in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Prepare vacant units for new occupants by performing various tasks, including painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and other necessary activities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenity spaces, and walkways.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards, allowing other maintenance personnel to fulfill their roles in the unit preparation process.
  • Build positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations (OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in residential, commercial, or mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong time management abilities, with a capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with paint sprayer equipment is advantageous.
