Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Bartender to join our team at Eli's Restaurant Group. As a Lead Bartender, you will be responsible for maintaining the existing bar program, developing new phases, training new staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bar Operations: Maintain the existing bar program, develop new phases, and ensure consistency in batching and par upkeep.
- Staff Training: Train new bartenders and bar backs in all technical aspects of bar operations.
- Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service to guests.
- Inventory Management: Assist management in inventory management, organization, cleaning schedule, and checklist maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service.
- Communication: Communicate respectfully with chefs, kitchen team, and servers as necessary.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge: Strong beverage knowledge and a passion for the service industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
- Physical Demands: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
