Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team at R3 Wound Care & Hyperbarics. As a key member of our financial management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Analyze financial data and provide reports to management for decision-making
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to healthcare operations
  • Collaborate with clinic managers and other departments to maintain accurate financial data across multiple locations
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work closely with external auditors
  • Support payroll processing and ensure proper expense allocation
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial reporting standards
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite accounting software, preferably in a multi-site healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
