Role Summary and Responsibilities
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for overseeing the nutritional care of patients under the guidance of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. Your commitment to excellence in service and professionalism is essential for providing optimal patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Nutrition Support Team, including pharmacists and physicians.
- Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments for patients.
- Educate patients on specialized dietary needs.
- Guide staff on appropriate food selections based on prescribed diets.
- Document patient responses to nutritional interventions and provide recommendations.
- Commission Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed Dietitian.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- ADA Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
