BOOST focuses exclusively on the federal contracting sector, encompassing areas such as finance, procurement, HR, recruitment, and strategic pricing. Candidates must have substantial experience in this domain. This role will involve direct client engagement while also playing a strategic role within our organization, requiring interaction across various divisions and levels. A collaborative spirit is essential, as you will be tasked with solving complex challenges for our clients. You will also mentor junior members of our finance team, provide policy guidance, assist in strategic planning, and contribute to pricing strategies for critical bids. Your responsibilities will include managing annual budgets, preparing presentations for advisory boards, ensuring compliance with regulatory submissions, and potentially facilitating client acquisitions. This position is fluid and requires adaptability, making it ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver executive-level strategic advice and support to client leadership
  • Present to boards of advisors as necessary
  • Provide leadership and counsel to growing government contractors
  • Conduct financial reviews and strategic assessments
  • Develop pricing strategies and analyze cost structures
  • Manage bank compliance and reporting
  • Lead audit readiness initiatives
  • Create and monitor forward pricing and budget plans
  • Oversee indirect rate management and intercompany allocations
  • Supervise monthly financial closings and reporting, focusing on cash flow and profitability
  • Ensure quality control in financial transactions and reporting
  • Manage general ledger operations
  • Prepare regulatory reports as required
  • Implement internal controls for assigned clients
  • Recommend enhancements to maintain the integrity of financial information
  • Oversee financial systems upgrades and implementations
  • Draft client-specific policies and align them with internal procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Act as a liaison for DCAA when necessary
  • Train and retain skilled finance personnel
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification required
  • 15+ years of experience in finance/accounting within government contracting
  • In-depth knowledge of FASB and GAAP
  • Advanced understanding of CAS, FAR, and DFAR regulations
  • Proven consulting experience with a client-focused, proactive approach
  • Expertise in all financial transactions, including cost reviews and account reconciliations
  • Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office and web-based tools

Work Authorization:

  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's in Accounting/Finance
