In this role, you will work closely with registered nurses to provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, taking vital signs, and administering personal care tasks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in teaching activities and contribute to the development of other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for procedures and administering personal care tasks.
  2. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  3. Participate in teaching activities and contribute to the development of other healthcare professionals.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

To qualify for this position, you must have a current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
