Job Overview

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Office Production Assistant within the Office of Budget and Planning (OBP). This position entails the management and oversight of various budget-related documentation and the production of annual budget publications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entry of all requisitions into the financial management system.
2. Reconcile and finalize purchasing orders at the conclusion of the fiscal year.
3. Maintain a comprehensive log of all assets acquired by OBP in relation to budgetary and employee usage.
4. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure the successful production of the District's Annual Budget.
5. Serve as the official timekeeper by preparing Time and Attendance records and Request/Authorization for Personnel Actions (SF-52s).
6. Keep all OBP employees informed of changes to personnel policies and security protocols.
7. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years of general work experience in administrative and financial support roles, including coordination of administrative functions, report preparation, and stakeholder collaboration for document creation (e.g., booklets, pamphlets, brochures). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is required.

Specialized Experience:

Experience that equips the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful performance in this role, typically acquired through work related to the position. To be considered, specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
