The primary role of the Clinical Operations Manager is to deliver prominent, on-site leadership across multiple specialty areas, including Allergy, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Rheumatology. You will engage closely with Providers, Nursing, Service Line, Support Services, and Revenue Cycle leaders to assess, enhance, and elevate provider and employee engagement, service excellence, clinical quality, care environment, and financial outcomes within the designated locations. This position is crucial for facilitating the local implementation of practice-wide improvement initiatives.

This role necessitates travel throughout the service area to cultivate relationships and promote quality care. Ideal candidates may be situated anywhere within the service area, with preferred locations enhancing access to various facilities.

Competency Requirements:

  • Human Capital Management: Develops and manages workforce aligned with organizational objectives, budgetary considerations, and staffing needs
  • Work Management: Holds self and others accountable for achieving measurable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results
  • Financial Management: Formulates and oversees annual operational and capital budgets for the area of responsibility

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of NY
  • 3+ years of experience in a multi-specialty practice setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations with staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Computer Skills (EMR, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Compensation Information: The salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws.
