DEPARTMENT: Support Services

COMPENSATION:

System Support Analyst I: $51,000 - $63,700

System Support Analyst II: $62,300 - $77,900

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Company's Geographic Information System (GIS) and associated databases.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and improve data model accuracy.
  • Develop and sustain automated processes using tools such as FME, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Create and produce data sets for both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Analyze asset and location data for insights.
  • Conduct reporting and analysis of outstanding work to identify causes and resolutions.
  • Review and analyze work orders for accuracy and completeness, while identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to apply GIS techniques and tools to gain insights into geographic variables. They should be adept at extracting data from GIS software and employing various analytical methods to derive meaningful results.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience with GIS software, map interpretation, legal descriptions, and technical services is required. Familiarity with AUD, AutoCAD, ArcFM, and ESRI mapping software applications is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in computer applications and related skills. The role requires analytical thinking to interpret and evaluate data or issues accurately. Attention to detail is essential.

Familiarity with database programming languages such as SQL is preferred.

An analytical mindset with knowledge of statistical and mathematical principles is necessary to analyze large datasets and identify patterns.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to present information clearly to various teams. Knowledge of the Company's GIS, CSS, Work Management, Outlook, and Office365 applications is preferred, along with basic skills in word processing and spreadsheets.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects are crucial. Candidates must be able to process information efficiently and apply logical reasoning to recognize potential consequences of actions.

A proven record of excellent work performance, including good attendance, is required. Candidates should exhibit strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Licenses and Certifications:

A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:

This position involves hybrid office conditions with a focus on accuracy and quality. Occasional travel may be necessary.
