Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000

Position Summary:

The IQGeo Enterprise Sales team is in search of a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role can be based in our Denver, CO office or performed remotely. The primary focus of this position is to enhance sales efforts by delivering in-depth technical knowledge of our software solutions to both current and prospective clients. As a vital member of the Sales team, you will assist in the product evaluation phase, ensuring that customer requirements are accurately understood and addressed through tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team during the product evaluation process for potential clients.
  • Comprehend the challenges faced by customers and propose effective solutions.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Contribute actively to the development and market readiness of new products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in creating demonstrations for various audiences, including end users, technical experts, and senior management.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database management systems (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite).
  • Familiarity with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mapping technologies (ESRI, QGIS).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools such as Safe Software's FME or GeoKettle.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A passion for tackling complex software challenges and managing multiple assignments.

Supervisory Role:

  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering or Technical field, or a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
