Position Summary:
- Selling the company's solutions, products, labor, and services.
- Targeting end-user customers.
- Upselling and cross-selling to the existing customer base.
- Cultivating and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Achieving or exceeding assigned quotas for installation and service operations.
- Growing the company's recurring monthly revenue (RMR) by providing solutions to both existing and new clients.
- Utilizing technical, organizational, and customer insights to influence purchasing decisions, driving revenue for the company.
- Conducting site assessments to evaluate customer needs and prepare estimates.
- Developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and corresponding sales estimates.
- Presenting sales proposals to customers and management.
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of company services.
- Acquiring and maintaining extensive product knowledge.
- Collaborating with internal teams to communicate job scopes and meet customer requirements.
- Prospecting new clients and upselling to the current client base through field sales, phone sales, and direct marketing.
- Exhibiting strong cold-calling abilities and identifying new business opportunities.
- Generating sales leads and maintaining customer account records.
- Creating proposals for customers, detailing preventive maintenance plans, reviewing testing reports, and working with Service Technicians on service repair proposals.
- Supporting marketing initiatives related to sales activities, including the development of sales and business plans.
- High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, or three to five years in high-volume sales.
- At least five years of successful experience as a sales representative.
- Proficient in fire alarm/life safety, intrusion alarm, access control, video surveillance, nurse call systems, and low voltage systems.
- Capable of organically growing business and building customer relationships through consultative selling.
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of drawings and codes.
- Self-motivated with strong negotiation and prospecting skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for engaging with senior executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Full-time availability and willingness to travel as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Moderate noise levels in an office/field environment, construction sites, and customer facilities.
- Flexibility to work extended hours to meet business needs.
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and various physical movements.
- Regularly lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Various vision abilities required for the role.

- Salary range between $55,000 and $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
- Eligibility for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.

- Paid time off accrual up to 120 hours in the first year, with increased accrual rate thereafter.
