Business Systems Analyst I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key intermediary between IT, Operations, and business units to evaluate unique business and user requirements, document specifications, and address intricate system challenges.
  • Oversee and assist with both new and existing software applications.
  • Investigate, pinpoint, and formulate solutions to various issues.
  • Participate in the strategizing, testing, execution, and documentation of system upgrades and transitions.
  • Recognize system improvements, document business necessities, and assess the impact on current system operations.
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure the precision of enhancements.
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders to gather insights, ideas, and consensus; ensure all parties arrive at a unified decision.
  • Inform business partners of forthcoming changes and support training initiatives.
  • Anticipate client requirements and proactively devise solutions to fulfill them.
  • Serve as project team leader.
  • Organize and adapt work to meet deadlines.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Position level will be determined by both internal and external experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of remaining seated for prolonged periods.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications and Education Required:

  • 3 years of experience with First Community Services or 3 years in business analysis.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Understanding of business principles and requirements.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and collecting information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills across all organizational levels are essential.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Capability to swiftly comprehend and analyze the business, applications, and technical functions of the organization.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic work environment.
  • Competence in meeting deadlines, managing confidential information, and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently and provide management updates.
  • Capacity to work under pressure while maintaining focus.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation in accordance with company policy.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work well in a team setting.
