Killeen, Texas, United States Reef Systems Full time

Note:

As a Human Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive metrics reports on human performance and pre-habilitation trends. This includes detailed analysis of musculoskeletal discomfort, duration, origin, and types of pain, as well as a comparison between deployed and non-deployed pain instances.

Your role will also involve cost analysis related to pre-habilitation sessions, including comparative billing for each session, identification of pain that necessitates surgical intervention, and tracking trends in musculoskeletal pain over specified timeframes.

Additionally, you will gather metrics on lost duty time due to aeromedical dispositions, including Duties Not Including Flying (DNIF) and Duties Not Including Controlling (DNIC), along with personal removals from training status or duties.

Human Performance metrics will assess compliance with the preventative maintenance program, focusing on factors such as low back strength, neck strength, and spinal strength measured at various weights and angles, as well as the number of missions executed at a subjective 100% capability, free from pain limitations.

Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from an accredited institution is required.

Applicants should possess a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience working with elite athlete populations.

Relevant specialized experience includes the coordination of performance programs for Special Operation Personnel (SOP) or work with other elite athletes, such as Division I, Olympic, or professional level athletes.

Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is mandatory, with the requirement that the certification remains valid and up-to-date.

Additionally, a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Level 1 certification and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, are required and must be maintained.

It is essential that the maintenance of these certifications is a continuous commitment and is at the Contractor's expense.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be capable of meeting the physical demands associated with training personnel, including the ability to traverse rough terrain and operate in austere environments to observe training activities. You should also be able to assist with strength and conditioning assessments and training protocols.

The ability to lift and manage loads or weights up to 55 pounds is necessary.
