Position Summary:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative sales, focusing on creating value by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research to develop a prospect list using available databases and online resources.
2. Collaborate with marketing programs to create timely follow-up campaigns to advance sales opportunities.
3. Maintain accurate opportunity and account tracking in Netsuite.
4. Develop sales plans for assigned territories.
5. Leverage a value-added solution-based sales approach to position GBS Corp products and services within assigned accounts.
6. Develop a thorough understanding of GBS Corp products and services and their relevance to the market.
7. Manage time and resources effectively to meet sales objectives.
8. Close new business opportunities to meet sales revenue objectives.
Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of business processes.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Experience in utilizing PC and Internet for presentation, business software, project management, and communication.
4. Ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
2. Two years of sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
