POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you enthusiastic about leading extensive and intricate construction initiatives, guiding teams, and emphasizing safety? ITP (International Talent Partnership) presents a remarkable opportunity for you to step into the role of Project Executive. In this capacity, you will manage multi-million-dollar industrial commercial MEP projects while fostering the development of future project managers and leaders.

You have the option to work as a traveling Project Executive, engaging on-site during the week and returning home on weekends, or benefit from a relocation package tailored for the right candidate eager for a new challenge. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise extensive construction projects or lead a team overseeing multiple projects, acting as the company's senior representative and primary liaison.
  • Provide guidance to the project team by identifying and assigning responsibilities while effectively mentoring team members.
  • Utilize lean methodologies (such as A3 development, choosing by advantages, 5-why) and facilitate Last Planner System sessions.
  • Rapidly learn and impart new lean concepts and processes.
  • Coordinate design, trades, and subcontractor interactions.
  • Apply policies and procedures to make informed decisions and address project challenges.
  • Develop and implement systems and strategies for ongoing enhancement of project team performance.
  • Build lasting client relationships and assist in future project procurement.
  • Support the Sales team in project pursuits through presentations, estimate contributions, and client engagement.
  • Regularly update clients with job-related information and project progress.
  • Manage essential project functions, including equipment selection and subcontractor procurement.
  • Conduct budget assessments, cost and revenue forecasts, manpower planning, change orders, and construction strategies.
  • Effectively negotiate and manage contract modifications, addressing any cost-impact issues.
  • Understand, support, and execute Connected Solutions strategies.
  • Lead monthly project reviews presented to division leadership.
  • Engage in industry organizations such as DBIA, LCI, CPMCA, ASHRAE, ASPE.
  • Take ownership of the contract and mentor the team in understanding and adhering to its scope.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Demonstrated history of managing large projects or multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven ability to train and develop effective project teams.
  • Expertise in proactive project planning and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Experience leading preconstruction activities on significant projects.
  • Capability to perform value engineering analyses.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering systems, including HVAC and Plumbing, related to large-scale construction.
  • Competence in estimating large projects in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with all management levels, presenting proposals, and delivering sales presentations.
  • Proven leadership skills to instill a sense of urgency within the project team.
  • Results-oriented approach and personal skill set.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field, or 15-20 years in Construction Management.
  • Experience managing large Guaranteed Maximum Price projects.
  • Proficiency in common software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as CAD drawings, blueprints, and submittals.
