Job Title: Manager of Grants Compliance and Operations

CPCQC is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Grants Compliance and Operations to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our grants management process, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and philanthropic grant regulations, and providing exceptional support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grant deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements for each grant, including federal, state, and philanthropic grant vehicles.
  • Maintain current knowledge of grant, contract, RFP, RFI, and purchase rules and regulations.
  • Monitor and track grant and contract recipients to ensure they are meeting grant compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and process program data and financial collection data from sub-recipients, program personnel, and partners, and advise on spend management and reallocations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to grants compliance to ensure all plans, documents, contracts, and unit correspondence are inclusive of health equity principles.
  • Support CPCQC Directors and program management leads on alignment with grant requirements and preparing and delivering high-quality deliverables that meet compliance guidelines.
  • Lead periodic reviews of grant documentation with Directors and program managers.
  • Learn various state and federal reporting systems and create internal tools for maintaining continuity of operations with grant reporting if grant leads leave the organization.
Operations Core Functions:
  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions for the organization, including grants management, team retreat planning, and planning for annual operations efforts.
  • Interface and monitor contracts for administrative services vendors, including legal, IT, HR, benefits, and finance.
  • Oversee and track progress on operations-focused KPIs and workplace certifications.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Leadership Team to continually evaluate and improve the workplace environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of non-profit, government, or other relevant job experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing needs.
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have completed certification training from the National Grants Management Association, OMB compliance, or other state/federal grant training organization.
  • Ability to create process and operational control and train staff to use the systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage matrixed work requirements and priorities.
  • Experience supporting staff and team members through positive management styles.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills.
