Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and configuring company hardware and software applications, ensuring system security, and providing technical support to employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hardware and Software Configuration
    • Install and configure company hardware and software applications, including operating systems, productivity software, and antivirus programs.
  • System Security
    • Ensure system security by monitoring security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect computer and sensitive data from security breaches.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Network Administration
    • Monitor networks, including configuring routers, switches, and other network devices, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and implementing network security measures.
  • Documentation and Maintenance
    • Create and maintain documentation on technology-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Mobile Device Support
    • Support Android and iOS mobile devices.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance
    • Maintain information and client confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related services.
  • Skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of compliance regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
    • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools, such as SOAR platforms.
    • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare.
  • Education
    • Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with OKTA or other SSO authentication applications.
  • Experience with cloud applications on AWS or Azure.
  • Firewall administration and VPN management.
  • Experience with SIEM tools.
