Job Description

Position Overview: The Application Support Engineer, under the guidance of the Application Support Manager, plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting a variety of business applications, including Office 365, OneDrive, Adobe, Box, and Zoom. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge of these applications and a collaborative approach with IT personnel and vendors. The primary focus is on delivering hands-on assistance and developing solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the Healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily upkeep of assigned applications, providing tier 1 and tier 2 support, diagnosing and resolving issues, liaising with vendors and internal IT teams, and ensuring operational continuity.
  • Configure, maintain, and support collaboration platforms such as Zoom, O365, Teams, Adobe, and Box. Experience with data migration from Box to platforms like OneDrive is advantageous.
  • Administer collaboration solutions while adhering to institutional standards and enhancing productivity through innovative tools and technologies.
  • Assess and propose new collaboration technologies, manage user accounts and permissions, monitor system performance, and deliver end-user support.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify collaboration needs, troubleshoot Zoom meeting challenges, and assist in organizing virtual events via Teams and Zoom.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, monitor system performance, and manage access controls to maintain security and data integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in managing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Box, and Zoom.
  • Strong proficiency in collaboration software, IT security, and compliance policies, with hands-on experience in cloud-based applications being a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and teamwork skills, along with robust problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, manage pressure, multitask, and adopt a proactive approach.
